Saint-Jean-de-Cherbourg
En circulant aux abords des villages de La Matanie, j'ai fait halte à Saint-Jean-de-Cherbourg. Mon besoin d'explorer m'a incitée à dresser un portrait général de cette communauté qui, dans les années 70, a été menacée de disparaître. Afin de donner de l'importance à ses habitants, je suis allée de porte en porte, sensible à leur générosité et à leur ouverture d'esprit.
Saint-Jean-de-Cherbourg
While driving around villages in La Matanie, I stopped at Saint-Jean-de-Cherbourg, a village that almost disappeared in the 1970s. My need to explore motivated me to make a general portrait of the community. Sensitive to their generosity and open-mindedness, I went door to door to get to know the people, listen to them, and give them a voice.
